When you arrive in Delhi, head to your boarding point for an AC Volvo bus for the overnight trip to Shimla.
When you arrive in Shimla, you’ll meet the representative who will explain the tour and take you to Chitkul, the last village before the Indo-China border. Enjoy the changing scenery, including green forests, open meadows, apple orchards, and rough landscapes. You’ll pass through Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr along the way. Once you reach Chitkul, you can eat at ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba’. After that, check in to your hotel or homestay for the night.
After checking out from your hotel in Chitkul, the driver will take you to Nako, which is close to the Indo-China border in the Trans-Himalayan area. Travel through the beautiful Kinnaur Valley and along the Indo-Tibet Highway. Stop to see where the Spiti and Satluj Rivers meet at Khab Bridge. Once you arrive in Nako, check in and begin your local sightseeing with the driver. Visit the peaceful Nako Monastery and enjoy the evening by Nako Lake. Then, return to your hotel for the night.
After checking out, the driver will pick you up and take you to Kaza, a beautiful town in Spiti. You will pass through Sumdo and take a right turn to visit Gue Monastery, where you can see a 500-year-old mummy. Next, head to Tabo Monastery, known as the ‘Ajanta of the Himalayas.’ Continue your journey to Pin Valley National Park, where you might catch a glimpse of the Snow Leopard. Finally, arrive in Kaza and check in to your hotel or homestay for the night.
The driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you on a sightseeing tour around Kaza. Start by visiting Komik, the highest village in Asia. Then, head to Hikkim to explore the world’s highest post office. After that, visit Langza Village and see the Lang Temple. Next, stop by the beautiful Key Monastery before continuing to the lovely Kibber Village. Later, visit the Chicham Bridge before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kaza.
After checking out, the driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you back to Kalpa. On the way, turn left to visit the impressive Dhankar Monastery. Continue your journey towards Kalpa, turning right from Powari towards Reckong Peo, the main town of Kinnaur district. Arrive in Kalpa and check in to your camp or homestay for an overnight stay.
Check out of your camp or homestay in Kalpa and meet the driver, who will take you to Shimla. Travel along the winding roads beside the Satluj River and through lush Deodar forests to reach the capital city. Your tour ends as you are dropped off at the Shimla Bus Stop, where you will board a bus back to Delhi.
